Contact Don Blasdel if you’re interested in a 15 inch Grizzly planer and a 6 inch Delta jointer for sale ($500).

Old Business:
Christmas Party

The Christmas Party will be 6:30 PM December 02 at the Presbyterian Church at 6500 Overland Rd.  Members have already volunteered for turkey, ham, and mashed potatoes.  John Pickrell will bring rolls & butter.  Members should bring side dishes and desserts according to the first letter of your last name: A-L dessert, M-Z side dish or salad.
Bring a hand-made gift if you want to participate in the gift exchange.

Idaho State Historical Museum Lumber

Club members have removed the lumber from the Historical Museum.  There is some white oak and fir.  Give Micheal a call if you’d like some.  Ron Lee suggested heating the pneumatic nails with a torch to ease removal.  Use some sheet metal with a small hole for the nail as a heat shield.

Turning For The Troops

Steve Young reported on the recent event at Woodcraft.  There were 21 or 22 lathes and 45 people assembling and packing.  1,328 pens were made making the total since this event was started over 12,600 pens.

Non-profit Status

Alan Hochhalter reported that he had called the IRS to get the club added to the IRS non-profit database so the annual IRS e-postcard filing can be made.  This was to avoid the usual $400+ filing fee for an official determination.  The club should be listed in the database around the first of December.
