Beautiful work, Mike. I'm a musician also--woodwinds, organ, piano. Built a
harpsichord once and an Irish harp. Your turning is beautiful!

I particularly liked the Ambrosia Maple bowl, as well as the Box Elder.
The colors and shapes found in fine woods is art unto itself, and
nothing brings it out like this. Keep it up, guys!

Enjoyed our visit..!! Very lovely work..!! we'll have to try making gutairs... we live in a Village called Mulberry.. and there isnt one
mulberry tree to be found.. I've been told that mulberry wood is great
for turning.. http://www.mulberrytimes.com We've
turned 100's of pens and I've done a few lidded boxes.. but I dont
think we have enough to put together a website as this one... Raymond & Cathy Worrilow Mulberry, TN, UNITED STATES -- Tuesday, January 01, 2008 at 16:14:37

Enjoyed a visit to your "plant" and seeing how fine instruments are made. Your comments on the Grizley band saw were also interesting. Ed Meyers Penfield, New York, USA -- Friday, April 06, 2007 at 12:32:49

Wow I just went thru the process photos, very cool! You obvioulsy know a hell of a lot about guitars, that shape looks perfect! I've always felt
that a dread style is too big at times and is really only neceassry for
performances in a large hall!
Does it sound much different to a 'conventional' style guitar?
