While the laminate and plumbing work was going on inside, Mark began working on the deck. We had all the materials delivered a while back so he was able to start right in. First he measured out where to place the footings, then he and Micheal dug three holes, mixed up the quikrete and poured it into the forms.

The next day he came in with two helpers who helped him lift the 22 foot  6" x 10" header. Not long after that, he attached the hangers and began lifting the floor joists into place.

That evening, Micheal painted all the bare wood to protect it from weather damage.
