Here is she is enjoying some sun and exercise. We couldn't help being a little worried though, because we had also learned that the average time left in a mantis' life after laying an egg case, could be around only two weeks. So if that were the case, we wanted it to be a very comfortable and happy two weeks. We made sure to keep her well supplied with healthy crickets purchased from our friendly local Zamzows.

 

But she stayed extra healthy and within a couple of days her thorax started getting bigger . . .

 

 . . . and bigger . . .

 

 

 Until on September 27, 2010 . . .
